Mokopane: Maintenance Foreman

About the Role

The Maintenance Foreman is a vital member of our team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our machinery, equipment, and facilities. With 5 years of experience in Artisan Fitter/Millwright and 5 years of Supervisor/Foreman experience, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise the maintenance and repair of the company’s machinery, equipment, and facilities, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Assign and monitor the work of the maintenance team (including maintenance planning), ensuring quality of maintenance and timeliness of service.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and monitor the performance of the maintenance staff, providing feedback and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as local and national rules, regulations, and standards regarding health, safety, and environmental issues.

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• National Trade Test Fitter or Millwright or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years Experience in Artisan Fitter/Millwright
• 5 years Supervisor/Foreman experience
• Extensive experience using planned maintenance systems (especially Pragma or SAP)
• Able to work methodically and systematically

Qualifications

• National Trade Test Fitter or Millwright or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary of R40 000 – R47 000 Depending on Skills and Experience
