About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service and achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective selling and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist showroom clients, ensuring a high standard of customer service
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective selling, negotiation, and deal closure
- Handle customer enquiries promptly while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Support External Sales Representatives with quotations and sales administration
- Accurately process sales orders, quotations, returns, and back orders using strong product knowledge and attention to detail
- Proactively follow up on sales, orders, and faulty units to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain up-to-date product, technical, market, and competitor knowledge to support sales growth
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years in Internal Sales Administrator
- Candidate must come from a Technical Industry
- Valid South African driver’s license and reliable transport
- Excellent negotiation and communication at all levels
- Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standards
- MS Office and Syspro (advantageous)
