About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor & Compliance Intern to support our organisation’s internal audit and compliance functions on a 1-year fixed-term internship. The intern will work closely with the Senior Internal Auditor, gaining practical exposure to auditing, risk management, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning and executing internal audit and compliance activities
Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
Support compliance monitoring and adherence to internal policies and regulations
Prepare audit and compliance work papers and reports under supervision
Assist in identifying control weaknesses and suggesting improvements
Support follow-ups on audit and compliance recommendations

Requirements

Degree in Internal Auditing, Auditing, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related equivalent qualification
Basic understanding of internal audit and compliance frameworks
Strong analytical and report-writing skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications
High attention to detail and ethical conduct
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Professional judgment and confidentiality
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
