About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify daily manufactured totals with Production and Stock Controllers; plan space allocation for finished goods
- Oversee safe handling and storage of stock, update forklift and license registers, and support auditors during stocktakes and food safety audits
- Ensure accurate picking, loading, and system updates; prepare required documentation (DA32, customs authorisations, invoices)
- Enforce company Health & Safety standards, maintain hygiene and housekeeping, manage transporters’ compliance, and assist in audits and incident investigations
- Monitor truck schedules, issue documentation, create purchase orders, and provide stock status updates to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in stock control and warehousing (customer-focused environment)
- At least 2 years’ forklift operating experience with fragile products
- Computer literacy: Sage, MS Word, Outlook, Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Management (preferred)
