About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network System Support Administrator to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng. As a key member of our national network support team, you will be responsible for providing technical systems support to our clients, managing our existing national networks, and ensuring seamless network infrastructure growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical systems remote support for new highsite/s and end user installations
  • Manage and maintain network hardware infrastructure, firmware upgrades, and wireless link frequency management
  • Liaise with upstream providers in event of any network failure or outage
  • Ensure clients are always informed as to status of networks
  • Proactively work with clients, possess good client communication skills
  • Provide support when required in the event of an outage/failure even after business hours
  • Update network monitoring systems and technical administration
  • Offer adhoc remote support on weekends and public holidays (on a roster basis)
  • Schedule own daily workload and meet client systems support challenges

Requirements

  • Work experience as an ISP systems administrator for at least 6 months
  • Reside in Gauteng, preferably near Midrand
  • Self-driven administrator with ability to schedule own daily workload
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport is essential
  • Basic working knowledge of Cambium, Mikrotik, and Ubiquiti equipment
  • Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, and network routing (advantageous)
