About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to relocate to the Netherlands and build a long-term career in healthcare. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work within supportive teams where your contribution is genuinely valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting patients at the pharmacy counter and telephonically in a professional and compassionate manner
- Processing prescriptions accurately and in line with pharmacy regulations
- Providing responsible self-care and over-the-counter medication advice
- Monitoring medication safety and identifying potential risks or interactions
- Supporting pharmacists with daily operational and administrative tasks
- Working across different pharmacy settings, including community, outpatient, and hospital pharmacies
- Adapting to various pharmacy systems, processes, and workflows
Requirements
- Pharmacy Post Basic qualification (completed or near completion)
- Relevant pharmacy assistant training equivalent to MBO Level 4
- Willingness and commitment to learn the Dutch language (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Professional, adaptable, and team-focused attitude
- Working hours are 32 hours per week
