Our client in the Manufacturing industry is looking to employ an experienced Lead Electrician to be based in Elandsfontein, Gauteng.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in Fault finding, System Integration and Solar Installations.
- Qualified, red seal electrician.
- A wireman’s License is non-negotiable.
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, advanced Excel)
- Knowledge of ERP systems, MES, Windows 10, discipline-specific software.
- Solar inverter testing, PCB replacement, lithium battery BMS data analysis.
- Firmware updates and system monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Installation of Equipment
-
Liaise with Project Supervisor to review project plans and drawings.

Ensure projects are built according to design and specifications.

Set up solar monitoring systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions.

Assemble solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install all equipment.
-
Install residential, light commercial, and industrial/IPPs photovoltaic systems.

Collaborate with Installation Supervisor and Engineering department for system installation.

Maintain accurate installation records and documentation.
Compliance

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and procedures (SANS, design specifications).

Maintain high quality assurance and control, emphasizing safety.

Monitor costs and minimize wasteful or irregular expenditure.
Customer Service

Communicate professionally with customers.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and positive feedback.
Cost and Quality Control
-
Ensure projects are executed within budget.

Complete projects on time while adhering to company policies and procedures.
