About the Role

An exciting opportunity awaits for a mature and experienced Lodge Manager who enjoys the wilder side of life and would like the challenge and rewards of supervising a luxury boutique safari lodge. Our boutique safari lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, is seeking a skilled and fit individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Run the lodge/property without supervision, to a schedule and with integrity.
Cook simple, great tasting meals for up to 15 guests, including menu planning and execution.
Maintain general maintenance of the Lodge (plumbing, electrical etc.) and perform small general repairs.
Logistically plan for a group of people, including doing shopping, errands, and planning.
Keep track of finances and budgets.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in tourism management is very beneficial.
At least 5 years experience in a senior position in the hospitality industry at a 4/5* luxury lodge.
Proven financial and administrative skills.
Must be fit and healthy, an all-rounder that can multitask.
Excellent PA abilities.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R20 000 R25 000 D.O.E. Accommodation provided on site; a partner could be accommodated but no children/pets. Other benefits to be discussed during interview process.

Starting Date: ASAP, although notice will be respected
