Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, canteens and everything on-con. 


Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

  • Identify, target, and onboard new clients
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.

Sales Execution:

  • Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to showcase our product offerings.
  • Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and address any challenges.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutual satisfaction.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the full range of products.
  • Provide customers with insights into product usage, benefits, and best practices.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to management to adapt strategies and improve offerings.

Order Management:

  • Process and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to guarantee high service levels.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.


Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Matric (Grade 12) required; a diploma or degree in sales, business, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the food service, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
  • Familiarity with liquor products is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
