About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our team in Sunninghill. As a bookkeeping professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and process cashbook entries, supplier invoices, and customer invoices
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, petty cash, and credit cards
- Manage debtors (collections) and creditors (payments), including following up on overdue accounts
- Assist with payroll administration and processing
- Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
- Experience managing debtors is essential
- Minimum of 5 years experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
