Job Description:
The Quality Control Intern will support the Quality Assurance team in conducting inspections, testing fabrics and trims, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and industry regulations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in product quality control within the fashion and sportswear industry.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Assist in performing pre-production, in-process, and final product inspections and tests.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Use measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product, fabric, and trim compliance.
- Record, analyze, and report inspection and test data, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Support root cause analysis of product, fabric, and trim defects and contribute to corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and organized quality and test records.
- Do QC audits at internal and external cmts.
Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of quality control methods, technical drawings, and testing tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and suggest solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in inspections, data recording, and spotting inconsistencies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal reporting skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain structure, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Standards: Basic understanding of industry quality and safety standards.
Experience Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Quality Management, Textile/Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Must have a driver’s license.
- Passion for activewear and technical product development is a plus.
