Location: Kliprivier, Randvaal, Gauteng (with national and international travel required)

Job Purpose
The Technical and/or Training Manager will be responsible for leading the companys technical development initiatives and growing its EWSETA-accredited training centre into a standalone business unit. This role will provide subject matter expertise on cable accessories, support product innovation, and ensure the companys training capabilities are aligned with industry standards and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the companys accredited training centre.
- Plan and coordinate training courses locally and internationally.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials aligned with the latest products and best practices.
- Ensure EWSETA and ISO 9001 compliance for the training function.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for training engagements.
- Provide technical input into product development and improvements.
- Assist with product design reviews, installation instructions, and bill of materials.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise and product knowledge.
- Conduct technical training, product demonstrations, and hands-on jointing/terminating sessions where required.
- Travel nationally and internationally as needed for training and project support.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Education:
- Matric Certificate with strong Maths and Science (required)
- Tertiary qualification (B.Eng. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred)
- MV and LV Cable Accessory certification (beneficial)
- SETA Accreditation as Facilitator, Assessor and/or Moderator (beneficial)
Experience:
- Experience in MV cable jointing and terminating (preferred)
- Previous training facilitation or instructional experience
- Experience in technical documentation development and product support
Other Requirements:
- Valid passport and drivers license
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans and additional languages are advantageous)
- Willingness to travel for extended periods
