Mthatha: Picker Packer

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Picker Packer to join our team in Mthatha. As a permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages to specified locations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver various packages to specified locations and branch transfers as per the delivery instructions provided.
• Verify addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure that there are no errors.
• Carefully plan travel routes to ensure that packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner.
• Secure packages to prevent damage during transit.
• Obtain recipients’ signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct items.
• Collect payments as required and ensure that the correct amounts have been received.
• Maintain an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.

Requirements

• Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background and a valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience working as a motor bike driver with references.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and use GPS devices.
• Reliable and punctual person.

Qualifications

• Valid Code A motorbike license.
