Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Cleaning:

  • Learn and contribute to the cleaning of construction machinery and equipment in the
  • washbay.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols.

2. Waste Disposal:

  • Gain exposure to proper waste disposal practices in the washbay area.
  • Assist in disposing of waste materials in accordance with environmental guidelines.

3. Work Area Organization:

  • Learn to organize and maintain the cleanliness of the washbay work areas.
  • Assist in keeping tools and cleaning equipment in order.

4. Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during washbay activities.
  • Participate in safety training sessions to ensure a secure working environment.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities and inspections.
  • Contribute to the organization of documentation related to washbay cleanliness.

6. Collaboration with Teams:

  • Work closely with maintenance personnel and different departments to ensure cleanliness standards.
  • Contribute to effective communication within the washbay team.

Requirements:

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
Must not have participated on the programme before
Recent completion of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
Preferred Skills:
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
Basic understanding of workplace cleanliness practices.
Participation in relevant coursework or training programs.
