Komatipoort: Fleet Controller – Komatipoort

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to oversee all aspects of fleet management for our company based in Komatipoort. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing fleet operations, wages, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling, as well as ensuring compliance with Company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage fleet operations, wages, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling
• Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments to ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies
• Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues
• Track orders and deliveries
• Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Education: Matric
• Experience: Previous experience in fleet management (at least 2 years) or related field
• Knowledge: Knowledge of fleet management and technology i.e. tracking is an advantage
