FLUENT IN AFRIKAANS Ex – rated equipment installation Minimum Requirements: Red Seal Electrician Master Installation Electrician (MIE) – Master Wireman License (Must) Harardous area classification training (advantage) Experience: 510 years experience in industrial/chemical & gas/explosive atmospheres Demonstrated experience with Ex installations and compliance auditing Experience issuing CoCs for hazardous areas Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of IEC 60079 parts 031 Experience with Ex d, Ex e, Ex i, Ex p, Ex tD, and Ex n installations Hazardous area fault-finding and instrumentation interface Ability to read and update hazardous area classification drawings SANS 10142-1 (Wiring Code general) SANS 10142-2 / 60079 series (Hazardous locations) Occupational Health & Safety Act Manufacturer specifications for Ex equipment
