Johannesburg: Finance Supervisor

Control the full finance function up to Trial Balance, ensuring accurate reporting, statutory compliance, strong ledger control and support to the Finance Manager. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: BCom Accounting Honours or similar CA or CIMA qualification with completed articles preferred 3-5 years accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment , multinational company experience is advantageous Practical knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation and VAT Strong ERP system experience (SAP or similar) Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting) Key Performance Areas: Control of full general ledger and accounts up to Trial Balance Month-end close, balance sheet integrity and financial reporting VAT calculations, reconciliations and submissions to SARS Tax compliance support and year-end schedules Bank, cash, creditors and balance sheet reconciliations Accruals, provisions, journals and fixed asset register control Supervision of creditors and expense compliance Cost and expense analysis with management reporting ERP system accuracy, controls and audit readiness Support to Finance Manager across audits and financial processes
