Job Title: IT Technician Seniority Level: Mid-Career (3 – 5 yrs exp) Type: 3 months contract Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure availability, confidentiality, and integrity of IT infrastructure and systems Provide IT support to all users Implement IT plans to ensure an efficient system Coordinate and provide various technologies globally Deliver activities to install and upgrade infrastructure servers Share information on updates, errors, and changes promptly Prepare roll out schedules and deploy security patches Conduct testing, packaging, and deploying software Review and support installation, service, and maintenance Implement new services and changes to existing services Assess product performance and recommend improvements Provide training and act as subject matter expert Align with global infrastructure standards Analyse and resolve day-to-day issues Provide support and guidance to team members Job Requirements: Understanding of IT requirements Experience in team management Knowledge of operating systems and network administration Innovative and strategic thinking Systematic problem-solving skills Effective communication and negotiation skills Expected Years of Experience: 3-5 years Expected Educational Qualifications: Matric Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science Tertiary Education in IT-related subjects (e.g., A, N, Microsoft Certified)
