Job Description
Plan and execute daily project related tasks and communication with the project team and related vendors. All activities, roles and responsibilities are aligned to the world class (manufacturing) philosophy, principles and practices.
Job Objectives / Duties:
Human Relations:
- Employee Relations.

- Artisan planning and work coordination.
- Project Performance measurement.
- Human relations with vendors and contractors.
- Disciplinary actions.
OHS Act Compliance:
- Ensure statutory compliance.
- Ensure safe work procedures are followed.
Responsible for Construction Activities:
- Execution daily Project related work.
- Contractor management and evaluation.
- Vendor and contractor on-boarding.
- Spares Planning or usage.
- Down time and incident reporting on Projects.
- Project schedules and budget.
- Project Quality control and Documentation.
- Project Progress feedback.
- Daily activity coordination and planning.
- Project information and Data Packs.
- Project Documentation (Spares, Drawings, Data Sheets, OEM data, etc.).
- Working Knowledge of Construction Regulations, SANS, and ISO Standards.
People Management:
- Artisan and contractor planning.
- Artisan and contractor utilisation.
- Liaise with operations team leads and area owners.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Engineering Studies / Related.
- Trade Specific Artisan (Red Seal) (advantageous).
Experience:
- 5-8 Years’ Experience in a Maintenance and Project execution.
- 8-10 Years draughting and Mechanical Experience.
- 3 Years’ Experience Contractor and Construction Management.
- 2 Years Change Management (MOC) Experience.
Competencies:

- Familiar / Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Competent CRS Payroll Solutions.
- AutoCad and Advanced Computer Modelling.
- Document Control for MOC’s and Projects.
