About the Role
Our client, Telebest, is seeking a Senior Manager in their Financial Reporting department based in Constantia Kloof. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial management of daily, monthly, and annual financial functions to ensure the integrity of the company’s financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial management of daily, monthly, and annual financial functions to ensure the integrity of the company’s financials.
- Maintain cash flow forecasts and management procedures to optimise cash flow and enable forward planning.
- Optimise the use of IT systems to improve efficiency in the transaction process.
- Develop and manage business plans for the area being managed.
- Communicate the plan to stakeholders and negotiate and implement individual service level agreements.
- Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, statutory requirements, and best accounting practices.
- Compile and implement financial management policies and procedures to ensure internal control and sound financial practices.
- Conduct performance management and continuously monitor performance.
- Deal with grievances, conflict, and disciplinary issues.
- Manage financial risks to mitigate threats to the financial integrity of the company.
- Accomplish financial objectives for the department.
Requirements
- CA education.
- 5 years experience as an Accountant.
- 5 years Management experience.
- 3 to 5 years SAP proficiency.
- Knowledge of:
- IFRS
- Income Tax Act
- VAT Act
- KING III
