About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Small Plant Mechanic to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing small plant equipment, including generators, weed eaters, lawn mowers, pressure washers, brush cutters, leaf blowers, and chain saws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Use own transport to attend workshops and clients’ sites

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on small plant equipment
  • Knowledge of 2-stroke engines and mechanics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Matric certificate (or equivalent)
