About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Owner to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technical products within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and road map
- Define and prioritise product backlog based on business value
- Ensure alignment between technical development teams and business objectives
- Define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and wireframes
- Work closely with development teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions
- Monitor and analyse product performance, identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisation
- Act as a subject matter expert for technical product-related queries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3-4 years experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools
- Knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics and machine learning technologies is a plus
