About the Role
As an Automation Specialist with Greys Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electricity and Automation (E&A) activities, and participating in Capital Investments projects in our factory. Your primary objective is to ensure that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality, and plant operation/performance while maintaining the highest standards of people’s health and safety, product safety, and environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electricity and Automation (E&A) professional and technical operational activities in line with corporate guidelines.
- Participate in Capital Investments projects in the factory to deliver technical solutions that meet corporate and market standards, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Prepare user and technical specifications, coordinate requirements with main users, follow up on solution development, pre-test, implement, and train operators and maintenance crews.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Electrical and Automotive solutions’ technical details.
- Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products, and the environment, maintaining an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
- Verify that all installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety, and product quality standards.
- Establish and maintain Change Management to effectively manage modifications.
- Apply market and local automotive and electrical legislation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Automation and Electrical experience.
- Tertiary qualification in Automotive Engineering Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Personnel Supervision of technical teams.
- Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies in Electrical and Automation areas).
- Strong knowledge of Robotics, PLC’s, and Process Control.
- Production Line experience.
- Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning, and/or maintenance execution desired but not required.
- Experience with Project Management.
