About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance management services to our customers, ensuring their equipment runs smoothly and stays up-to-date with the latest technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance management services, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance
- Help customers by ensuring their equipment runs smoothly and stays up-to-date with the latest technology
- Make sure customers can rely on us for repairs, maintenance, and any future adjustments they may need
Requirements
- Studies completed in Millwright or similar technician education
- All-round technician (Millwright with both mechanical and electrical experience)
- Strong electrical background
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting PLC’s and variable speed drives is a plus
- NQF 4 – 5 level or equivalent
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a technical role, such as breakdown service technician or maintenance technician
- Additional training and experience in process technology and automation
