About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Midrand, responsible for designing and implementing risk management systems that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify business risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Design and implement data-driven solutions using SQL and relational databases
- Develop and maintain API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Utilize Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Implement ETL, Data Warehousing, and Big Data projects
- Collaborate with AWS teams to integrate products and services
- Work closely with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira
Requirements
- BCom Information Systems qualification or equivalent
- BSc. Computer Science or any other relevant qualification
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
- At least 3 years of experience working on data projects
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases
- Proven experience with API Swagger/OpenAPI specification
- Strong Excel skills
