About the Role

The Contract Manager will be responsible for providing security advice to clients, conducting threat and risk assessments, and managing client relationships. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, including manpower management, equipment management, and incident investigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security advice to clients
  • Perform threat and risk assessments
  • Manage client relationships and professional client relationships
  • Manage manpower and equipment
  • Deal with and manage client complaints effectively
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met at all times
  • Chair disciplinary hearings
  • Manage incidents and investigations
  • Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code
  • Manage health and safety
  • Solve Security Officers’ problems reported
  • Follow company SOPs
  • Follow BPC policies and procedures
  • Organize training as required
  • Conduct after-hour visits and standby duties

Requirements

  • PSIRA certification Grade A
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years experience in a management position in the Mining environment
  • Experience in Chrome/Platinum/Illegal Mining
  • Investigation/intelligence experience
  • Relevant experience as an administrator
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure
