About the Role
J D Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting a well-established company offering premium rented accommodation in Cape Town to recruit an experienced Property Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Front Office and Housekeeping operations within a 5-star hospitality environment, ensuring seamless coordination between departments, efficient systems management, and consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Front Office and Housekeeping operations within a 5-star hospitality environment
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments
- Efficiently manage systems to maintain high service standards
- Coordinate guest check-ins/check-outs, maintenance requests, and property presentation standards
- Handle reservations, billing, and basic revenue or occupancy reporting
- Provide excellent guest communication and problem-solving abilities
- Lead a team across cleaning, maintenance, and front-office functions
- Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS) or booking platforms to manage bookings and inventory
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a guest accommodation, serviced apartment, or boutique hospitality environment
- Strong focus on Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Relations
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position, overseeing guest services and housekeeping operations
- Proven track record of managing guest check-ins/check-outs, maintenance coordination, and property presentation standards
