About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reservationist to join a luxury country house in Hazyview. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, guest-focused professional with a minimum of three years experience in hotel or lodge reservations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage online bookings on all current and future channels, including Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, TravelGround, AfriStay, and Wetu
- Maintain and update channel content, including descriptions, photos, room types, facilities, and occupancy
- Monitor rate parities and load rates on SiteMinder and MyFidelio.net
- Manage OXI interface to ensure bookings are correctly processed
- Liaise with channel managers and maintain positive relationships
- Respond to internal and guest communications promptly
- Apply and retract specials according to occupancy
- Process bookings, payments, and follow-ups seven days out
- Issue tax invoices and assist with debtor management
- Assist with week/month-end reporting and online statistics
- Assist with site inspections in the absence of Hotel/Duty Managers
- Support weekly planners, correspondence checks, and arrival procedures
- Provide assistance with general reservations duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum three years reservations experience within a hotel or lodge environment
- Strong computer literacy and experience with reservation and channel management systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and professionalism
- Strong communication skills and guest-focused approach

Salary R6,500 – R8,500 DOE (live-out position based in Hazyview)
