About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our luxury safari lodge as a Kids Club Activist, where they will have the opportunity to deliver engaging conservation-focused activities while providing exceptional family-focused hospitality in a refined natural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety in a Big 5 environment.
- Maintain correct child-to-staff ratios in line with lodge safety policies.
- Ensure children follow lodge safety rules and wildlife awareness guidelines.
- Ensure all children are signed in and out by authorised parents or guardians only.
- Assist in planning and delivering daily Kids Club programmes, including nature-based, cultural, educational, and creative activities.
- Facilitate games, crafts, storytelling, conservation lessons, and age-appropriate outdoor activities.
- Introduce children to basic conservation concepts, local wildlife, tracking, and environmental responsibility.
- Encourage respect for nature, animals, and local culture through interactive learning.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and their families.
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding activities, schedules, and any concerns.
- Uphold luxury hospitality service standards at all times.
- Ensure Kids Club areas, toys, and equipment are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Respond appropriately to minor injuries or incidents and report all incidents to the Kids Club Manager.
- Assist with attendance registers, activity logs, and incident reporting.
