About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong and self-sufficient Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team at Profile Personnel in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial records and ensure accurate accounting
- Prepare and review financial statements, invoices, and debtor control reports
- Analyze financial data using Excel and other tools
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Provide support to the team as needed
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting or bookkeeping context
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail with high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
