MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (MANUFACTURING)/WOODBROOK/EAST LONDON – Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with proven experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Flexibility to work overtime when required is essential.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Mechanical systems
- General industrial maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Willingness and availability to work overtime as and when operationally required
- Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems
- Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to maintenance
- Electrical or PLC exposure (advantageous but not essential)
