Bible Media is a Christian Media Ministry that produces and provides content to inspire the Christian Way. Currently, the organisation is in the process of digital transformation, building a more comprehensive digital footprint. They require the services of a Video Journalist with the ability to generate topic ideas that will appeal to their audience and create video content around these topics.
Responsibilities
- Research, pitch, and produce original video stories and marketing ideas
- Shoot, script, and edit video content for digital platforms
- Record podcasts
- Create marketing material to boost online sales
- Post videos and podcasts on relevant social media platforms
- Provide user support regarding camera and sound equipment
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Videography / Journalism / Media / Marketing / Communications, or other related fields)
- Previous experience in a similar role of videographer or video journalist (producing and editing of videos)
- High level computer literacy (video editing software) and digital savvy
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Detail orientated work style with good time management and organisational skills
- Creative personality
- Ethical and value-driven view of life, upholding Christian values
- Drivers licence and own transport
