About the Role
Our client, Telebest, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Sales Representative to join their team based in KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling renewable energy solutions to new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales & promotion of renewable energy solutions.
- Seek new clients and register Vendors.
- Coordinate photovoltaic installer training for new and existing installer base.
- Customer service & Administrative duties.
- Coordinate photovoltaic project design and management of PV projects for clients in the residential, agricultural and commercial sector.
- Source renewable energy products or supplies.
- Build and maintain a re-seller base by establishing trust in the company brand and maintain the trust through operational excellence.
- Insure efficient servicing of clients throughout the supply process.
- Handle warrant issues and coordinate the replacement of stock on PV, lighting and audio projects.
- Maintain and ensure that GP margins are maintained whilst minding industry standard pricing.
- Motivating and promoting positive ethos morale.
- Maintaining a strong internal drive and momentum.
- Advise the procurement department on maintaining efficient stock level.
- Ensure a thorough knowledge of the business models of competitors in the market in order to maintain an edge through committed back up on all levels.
- Register with governing bodies in order to secure projects.
- Complete and submit tender documentation.
- Ensure that the business operates to a high standard of compliance within the relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Handle public complaints and answer to telephonic queries and walk-in customers who require advise on PV Solutions and what the company can offer them.
Requirements
- Matric or RPL.
- 3 to 4 years relevant experience as a Sales Representative.
- 3+ years working experience within a wholesale industry.
- Experience in self-generating leads with a proven track record of success.
- Product and renewable energy knowledge.
