About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Digital Marketer & Content Creator with retail focus to join our team in Pretoria East. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for executing digital marketing and social media strategies that drive sales targets and promotions. You will also create engaging content across various platforms to showcase our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in executing digital marketing and social media strategies aligned with retail promotions and sales targets
Create and publish engaging, product-focused content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Support content planning, editing, scheduling, and posting across digital platforms
Assist with managing and growing social media platforms and customer engagement
Support paid social media campaigns, including ad setup, monitoring, and basic optimisation
Use Meta Business Suite for content scheduling, basic ad management, and performance tracking
Assist with updating and maintaining websites and online stores using Shopify and WordPress
Use AI tools and vibe coding techniques to support content creation, automation, and basic coding tasks
Assist with simple website edits, landing pages, and campaign elements using AI-supported coding
Monitor basic digital performance metrics and assist with reporting

Requirements

Entry-level to 1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing, retail marketing, or social media management
Strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and retail sales
Basic working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Exposure to paid social media advertising is advantageous
Basic knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, or e-commerce platforms
Exposure to vibe coding or AI-assisted coding tools for basic website or campaign support
Willingness to learn AI tools, digital analytics, and basic coding concepts
Good communication, organisational, and time-management skills
