About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our agricultural retail hub in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of agricultural products and their applications, as well as retail acumen to drive growth in this hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations and inventory
- Oversee daily operations of the agricultural products store
- Manage inventory levels including ordering, stocking, and tracking
- Provide expert knowledge and advice on agricultural products to support farmers
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve performance targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and other operational metrics
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly
- Monitor and manage the store budget and expenses
Requirements
- Own transportation and driver’s license
- Experience in Retail or agricultural management experience
- Knowledge of agricultural products
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Qualifications
National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4)
