About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive revenue growth in their hotel in Gqeberha.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize food and beverage revenue, control costs, and ensure profitability
  • Manage stock levels, minimize wastage, and maintain accurate POS records
  • Supervise restaurant staff, recruit and onboard new employees, and manage performance
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, health, and audit standards
  • Deliver seamless dining experiences, respond to guest feedback, and uphold brand standards
  • Oversee departmental procedures, rostering, and reporting
  • Identify and implement new ideas to enhance service, efficiency, and product offerings

Requirements

  • Grade 12 plus Diploma in Food & Beverage Management (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years in a junior supervisory role within hospitality/restaurant sector
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite); POS and inventory system experience advantageous
  • SASA Junior Sommelier Certificate or higher is an advantage
