About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution and development of strategies within the division, ensuring cost control, and driving financial performance. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong business development background and operational management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution and development of strategies within the division
- Cost control
- Accountability for the divisional financial performance including budget planning and profitability
- Ensure compliance to SLAs and KPIs across contracts
- Ensure compliance to BCEA, LRA, OHSA, and company policies
- Partner with HR on talent management and workforce planning
- Lead and mentor regional and site managers across TES and Functional Outsourcing
- Act as the point of contact between operations and other divisions such as sales, HR, Finance, Compliance
- Use data analytics to monitor trends and improve operations
- Prepare reports on operational and financial indicators
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or operations management
- Minimum of 10 years experience in operational management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Solid experience in Functional Outsourcing, warehousing solutions, and TES
- Proven knowledge of budgeting and managing profitability
- Understanding of blue collar employees
