About the Role
As a Senior Travel Consultant in our Cape Town City Centre office, you will be responsible for executing bookings and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. You will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless travel experiences, leveraging your knowledge of the local and international travel industry (inbound market) to Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing bookings by providing a detailed level of service
- Responding to all enquiries timeously
- Providing availability and costs/quotes for bookings
- Obtaining authorisation for rates quoted from Sales and Marketing
- Managing short lead time requirements and changes
- Offering personalised service to ensure guests are kept informed in detail of itinerary and product information
Requirements
- Minimum of a Matric Certificate
- Tertiary certificate in travel-related field desirable
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar environment
- Fluent in speaking and writing in the English language
- Ability to deal directly with agents and guests on various platforms (email, phone, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work fast and accurately and respond quickly and efficiently
