About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Burgersfort. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines in an underground mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose engine problems
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship program
- Possession of recognized Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 and/or 26)
- At least 2 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic in an underground mining environment
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Possession of valid Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
