About the Role
The role of Reservations in Constantia involves managing and processing booking enquiries efficiently and accurately, ensuring a seamless reservation experience for clients. The post holder is responsible for providing timely and professional service, handling incoming booking requests via telephone, email, and online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming booking requests via telephone, email, and online platforms promptly and professionally.
- Enter reservations accurately into the booking system, ensuring all client details and preferences are correctly recorded.
- Confirm bookings with clients and provide relevant information regarding availability, pricing, and terms and conditions.
- Manage cancellations, amendments, and special requests efficiently, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate client requirements and resolve any booking issues.
- Monitor reservation systems for errors or discrepancies and take appropriate action to rectify them.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and comply with data protection regulations at all times.
- Generate regular reports on reservations activity to assist management with business analysis and planning.
Requirements
- Good general education, including a minimum of GCSEs or equivalent, with passes in English and Mathematics.
- Proven experience in a reservations, customer service, or similar administrative role.
- Experience working with booking or reservation systems is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously in a busy environment.
Qualifications
- A secondary school qualification is essential.
- Additional training or certification in hospitality, travel, or customer service is advantageous.
