About the Role

The Team Leader position at Ladybrand requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills to manage a team of factory and field staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for motivating, supervising, and supporting their team to achieve production targets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate, supervise, and support a team of factory and field staff on a daily basis.
  • Allocate and monitor workload to ensure efficient output and quality results.
  • Ensure team adherence to production targets and schedules.
  • Operational Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating operational tasks across border assignments into Lesotho.
  • Monitor and report on production progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols at both local and border sites.
  • People Development: Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of staff activities, attendance, and job progress.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Proven experience managing factory or production staff
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Valid drivers license
  • Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Basic financial and reporting acumen
