About the Role
The Team Leader position at Ladybrand requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills to manage a team of factory and field staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for motivating, supervising, and supporting their team to achieve production targets and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate, supervise, and support a team of factory and field staff on a daily basis.
- Allocate and monitor workload to ensure efficient output and quality results.
- Ensure team adherence to production targets and schedules.
- Operational Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating operational tasks across border assignments into Lesotho.
- Monitor and report on production progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at both local and border sites.
- People Development: Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of staff activities, attendance, and job progress.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Proven experience managing factory or production staff
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Valid drivers license
- Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Basic financial and reporting acumen
