About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with a strong background in manufacturing environments to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and equipment breakdowns, as well as performing preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and equipment breakdowns
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections and daily equipment checks
  • Minimise production downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs
  • Complete maintenance job cards and ensure accurate reporting
  • Support production teams with process-related maintenance issues
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and parts availability
  • Assist with training Apprentices and preparing training equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulations
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and minimise waste

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF 4)
  • Trade Test Qualification: Electrician or Millwright (NQF 5)
  • Minimum 3 years electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP, ERP systems, and maintenance software advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
