About the Role

The Production Supervisor role at Killarney Gardens, Cape Town, requires a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the production of food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of fruit processing and technology, as well as leadership/management training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for the production of food products
  • Monitor and assess performance, making improvements or taking corrective action on the processing thereof
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and general manufacturing practices
  • Maintain production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture
  • Supervise a team and provide leadership to ensure efficient production

Requirements

  • Matric Maths and Science or N3 National Certificate in Food Processing
  • Diploma in Production Management
  • Leadership/Management Training
  • Team leader/supervisory experience

Qualifications

  • Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 2 – 3 years from Diploma level in dairy processing role
