About the Role

The Production Supervisor role at Killarney Gardens, Cape Town, requires a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the production of food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of fruit processing and technology, as well as leadership/management training.

Key Responsibilities

Apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for the production of food products
Monitor and assess performance, making improvements or taking corrective action on the processing thereof
Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and general manufacturing practices
Maintain production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture
Supervise a team and provide leadership to ensure efficient production

Requirements

Matric Maths and Science or N3 National Certificate in Food Processing
Diploma in Production Management
Leadership/Management Training
Team leader/supervisory experience

Qualifications

Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 2 – 3 years from Diploma level in dairy processing role
