Cape Town City Centre: GROUP FINANCE MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight to ensure the group’s financial performance is optimized. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and reporting of monthly consolidated financial results and overhead costs
  • Preparation of monthly Executive/Board Pack
  • Group Cost Centre Reporting
  • Provide insight to cross functional stakeholders on monthly Group PL Reporting
  • Regulatory Reporting (AFS, Tax, and Transfer Pricing for Sites and Holding Company)
  • Coordination, completion, and compliance of statutory reporting
  • Prepare relevant Budgets (BP) and Working Capital Management plans
  • Review of site reporting and consolidation of AR & AP, and Treasury management
  • Monthly reporting and forecasting of group cash flows, FX fluctuation, and AR and AP balances, and recommended actions
  • Forecasting and preparation of monthly rolling forecast of operating expenses by site and consolidated
  • Lead annual Group and Site operational budgets including planning, analysis, and consolidation
  • Balance Sheet Review
  • Ensure monthly review of site accruals and provisions and reporting on same

Requirements

  • Postgraduate University degree with focus in Accounting, Finance or Controlling or other relevant qualification or equivalent relevant working experience
  • 3 years relevant work experience
  • Proficient skills with relevant and established controlling software and tools
  • Proficient skills with the Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, advanced) and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal)
