About the Role
The Purchasing & Procurement Manager role at Tanya Serra Food, Wine, Hospitality Recruitment is a critical position that ensures the effective management of all purchasing and procurement functions for the Lodge operation. The objective is to source quality goods and services in line with agreed standards, contributing directly to a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the purchasing and procurement function for the Lodge operation
- Ensure timely sourcing of quality goods and services
- Operate in accordance with company policies and strategic objectives
- Drive cost efficiencies while maintaining supplier integrity
- Maximize profitability within approved budgets
- Balance operational demands with strategic procurement planning in a remote lodge environment
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a purchasing and procurement role, preferably within hospitality
- Extensive computer knowledge i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Internet, Powerpoint, Sage X3 etc.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with budgeting experience
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
