About the Role

A well-established FMCG business in the food industry is seeking a strong Depot Admin Manager to join their depot based in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. This full-time, on-site role requires an organised and hands-on admin leader who can manage people, oversee daily depot administration, and support various functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the order process from receipt to internal confirmation and customer delivery scheduling
  • Manage admin staff across depot-related accounts
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration
  • Process goods inward and outward documentation
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Process customer orders
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, invoicing, and financial variance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and health and safety requirements
  • Handle onsite HR administration, including timekeeping and attendance tracking
  • Support payroll-related admin processes
  • Handle general customer enquiries
  • Support the Depot Manager with stocktakes, stock balancing, and variance investigations
  • Assist with general administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Previous office management experience, preferably in a logistics, warehouse, depot, or FMCG environment
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Qualification in administration, sales, or marketing would be an advantage
