Ideal Starting Date: 1 May 2026 Minimum Requirements: HPCSA registration as a Dental Assistant (essential) Previous experience working as a dental assistant Comfortable working in a busy dental practice Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, professional, and well-organised Advantageous: experience working on the Elixir billing system Duties and Responsibilities: Chairside assisting during dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and instruments Infection control and sterilisation of instruments Assisting with patient preparation and comfort Managing stock, materials, and basic inventory control Accurate record keeping and patient file management Assisting with basic administrative and reception duties when required Working closely with the dentist and practice team to ensure smooth daily operations Salary & working hours: Will be discussed during the interview and salary will be dependent on experience .
