Amdoor is a well-established custom wooden door and window manufacturing business with over 25 years of experience. We are entering an exciting new phase as we transition to a more structured management team and are looking for a strong bookkeeper & Admin Manager to play a key role in this evolution. This is not a basic admin role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of cashflow, bring financial discipline, and help the business run efficiently on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for cashflow management Active management of debtors and collections Control of creditors and supplier payments Monthly financial reporting (clear and accurate) Oversee invoicing and general admin systems What Were Looking For 5 years experience in a bookkeeper/admin role Strong understanding of cashflow in an SME environment Confident and assertive (especially with collections) Highly organised and detail-oriented Comfortable working closely with a small management team Proficiency in Pastel, Pastel Payroll and Excel Ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing working environment Applicant should have a matric with maths and a diploma in bookkeeping Bookkeeping to trial balance Should have experience with SARS returns Candidates must live in the southern suburbs of Cape Town Your Activities will include Capturing daily financial activities on Pastel and Excel Monthly Vat returns Working closely with our outside professional accounting company. Preparation of wages on Pastel Payroll Working with Bargaining Council when required Employee related tasks including contracts Package Market-related salary based on experience BIBC pension fund Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the business evolves If you are someone who takes ownership, brings structure, and wants to be part of a stable, growing business, we would like to hear from you.
