Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client, a leading mid-tier audit firm based in Johannesburg, is currently seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, managing client relations, and providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues and propose solutions
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CA(SA) qualification is strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably within a professional services firm
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple engagements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
