Degree in Finance/Taxation
Fluent on SARS EFiling and Easyfile
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Sage & Xero advantageous
Knowledgeable of South African VAT & Tax laws.
Experience in GreatSoft Tax (advantageous)
SAIPA or SAICA articles advantageous
Responsibilities
Completion and submission of income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
Completion, submission, and follow-up of objections (SARS)
Attend SARS meetings as company representative.
Address SARS queries on all the above
Manage a Team

The Senior Tax Clerk reports to the Audit Manager as well the Practice Partner. They collaborate closely with
employees across the different departments
Team of 1-2 staff report to this role
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, office-based position with standard working hours, Monday to Friday. The Senior Tax Clerk
typically works in an office environment and may be required to occasionally work beyond regular hours to
address urgent matters or accommodate special projects
