Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialisation Head in Engineering to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers in their specific area of expertise and ensuring the successful completion of projects in accordance with company standards and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of engineers in a specific area of expertise within the company
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborating with other departments to address project requirements and challenges
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
- Monitoring and evaluating team performance and providing coaching and feedback as needed
- Participating in project planning and decision-making processes
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record of leading successful projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Professional engineer certification preferred
- Solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
